  1. Um, well, first off, I am a skeptic, but I was wondering if anyone in or around
  2. Vancouver could corroborate this following report my nephew gave me:

  4. July 24, 1995 21:40-5 PDT                New Westminster, B.C.
  5.  
  6. Circular object, with running lights made up of large yellowish-white squares.
  7. Flying close to the base of the clouds.
  8. It shot up suddenly leaving a hole in the clouds that lasted for several
  9. minutes.
  10. Smooth, but rapid, acceleration.
  11. Silent.
  12. Visible to the south-west, probably over the Fraser River delta, maybe closer.
  13. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else saw this either tonight or previously.
